i have decided to skip the second day of this conference. I have PowerPoints that I have to make for a workplace safety conference where I am speaking next week (Large Loss Preparedness and Risk Management Strategies), I can't sit through that bullshit again. I drive to LA today, where Toby and I will be staying in a cool hotel in Hollywood. Then NFL tomorrow!

I just returned home after a week of work and I have a pile of pets on me. Not sure if they missed me or just discovered the electric blanket.
Now, if only my suitcase would show up...
They asked for folks to gate check bags so I complied, thinking that since it was getting on the first flight from the jet bridge and I had a 3 hour layover, all would be fine. Nope, can’t move an underseat-sized bag 4 gates in the space of 3 hours.
